Hero Motocorp. has come up with some of the most interesting concepts at the ongoing Autoexpo 2016. The major four concepts unveiled includes Duet E, which is a whole new fully-electric scooter from Hero, Splendor iSmart 2016, Xtreme 200S and XF3R.
Starting from the Duet E, this is a fully electric scooter from the Delhi based motorcycle maker to support the green innovation. There are chances that this concept will be taken into production form very soon and will compete against the likes of products from other e-vehicle manufacturers in the market today.
Talking about the new 2016 Splendor iSmart, this is a completely in-house developed motorcycle from Hero’s R&D team. As we know Splendor already enjoys a huge demand in the market so with the help of this new product, Hero is strengthening its place as the world’s highest two-wheeler manufacturer.
Apart from the above two Hero also revealed the new Xtreme 200S which will be launched by 2017. It will mark Hero’s entry in the 200cc segment. It propels a 200cc single cylinder 4-stroke engine that churns out 18.6bhp of maximum power and 17.2Nm of peak torque. It will basically be a direct competitor to the newly launched TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Bajaj Pulsar 200NS FI.
Hero also unveiled their brand new XF3R concept at the ongoing Autoexpo. We reckon it was the most alluring concept from the Delhi based automaker at this year’s Autoexpo. Its futuristic design philosophy and under-seat exhaust assembly took the bike to the centre stage among all other models.
Hero Motocorp. also came up with the new generation Karizma and also HX250. Stay tuned as Bikeportal brings more updates from the Autoexpo.
