Hero Motorcorp. Launches Splendor Pro Facelift at INR 46,850

With the start of the festive season, Hero Motorcorp. has come up with a new facelift version of the Splendor Pro commuter motorcycle. This new Splendor Pro happens to be the flagship motorcycle in the Splendor series being priced at INR 46,850 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). The new model is good INR 2,700 costlier than the previous model. It has been updated with a couple of cosmetic changes but the mechanicals remains unchanged. The Splendor Pro now features a redesigned curvier windshield. Grab rails receives a silver treatment and the exhaust now gets a chrome plated shield.

A new side-stand indicator is included in the instrumental cluster while the seats are now widened to improve the comfort level. Some of the things like powertrain, suspension and brakes remains unchanged. The Splendor Pro still utilizes the same 97cc single-cylinder APDV engine that churns out 8bhp of power and 8Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 4-speed transmission. Apart from the six old paint schemes, now Splendor Pro will included two new shades - shield gold and black red. Indian market being one the markets flooded with commuters, there are many competitors against the Splendor Pro including TVS Star City Plus, Honda CD Dream, Bajaj Discover 100M and the Mahindra Centuro.
