Hero Bikes and Scooters Available with Discounts Worth Rs 17,000

Hero MotoCorp is offering huge benefits and discounts on the motorcycles in its portfolio to lure new buyers ahead of the festive season in the Indian market. The company intends to achieve a sales growth of 10 percent during the festive season.

The benefits range from exchange bonus to cash discount and low rate of interest. The company is also banking high on the recently announced cut in the corporate tax by the Government of India to increase cashflow and make more local investments.

The discounts and benefits are available for the entire range of motorcycles in Hero's portfolio. They include cash discount of Rs 2000, exchange bonus of Rs 5000 and a special rate of interest of 6.99 percent.

In addition, PayTm is providing benefits worth Rs 10,000 on the purchase of company bikes, thus taking the total benefits to uptoRs 17,000. Despite the market slow down, Hero is expecting some really good numbers due to the launch of new products recently.

The bikemaker had introduced two new motorcycles in the 200cc range in form of XPulse 200 and 200T, alongside the Xtreme 200S. Furthermore, the company presented the India's first fuel injected scooter as Mastero Edge 125 FI.

Hero MotoCorp became the first Indian bikemaker in June 2019 to get the BSVI certification from International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT).

Despite all the innovations, it, similar to almost every other automaker in the country, is facing heat due to market slowdown.

The company recorded a negative growth of 22.24 percent in August 2019 sales as it retailed 15,14,196 units as compared to 19,47,304 units sold during Augusr 2018. Both the motorcycles and scooter sales registered a de-growth.
