Hero Motorcorp has come up with some of the interesting new models in its scooters and motorcycles range along with one of the highly anticipated motorcycle the HX250R. That will make its way to the quarter-litre motorcycle arena in short time.At a dealers meet held in Italy, the Gurgaon based two-wheeler manufacturer showcased two of its new scooters the Duet and Maestro Edge to the dealers in Italy.
The Maestro Edge is the updated version of the current on-sale 109cc scooter Hero Maestro. Along with the Maestro Edge, the Duet will be sold as the new family scooter which is equipped with a bunch of new features such as telescopic front suspension, external fuel filling cap, tubeless tires, integrated braking system, USB mobile charging and storage light. The duet will surely hit the market with storm and will go head to head against the current highest selling scooter in India, the Honda Activa 3G. The Honda Activa 3G is powered from an Air-cooled, 4-stroke, 109.2cc SI engine. According to sources, Hero is currently focusing on the introduction of new scooters to the two-wheeler market. Hero Motorcorp’s new R&D chief Markus Braunsperger has decided to postpone the launches of any new motorcycles till they come up some revolutionary.
