Hero records 5 per cent sales drop in December 2015

Snapshot: Hero Motocorp. has been the top selling brand when it comes to two-wheelers and despite this drop in sales figures the company still enjoys being at the top most spot domestically as well as internationally.

The Delhi based auto maker has registered a drop of almost five per cent in the overall December 2015 sales. According to the recent analytics, the company’s sales figures dropped to 4.99 lakh units in the month of December as opposed to the 5.26 lakh units that were sold in the corresponding month of 2014. Hero Motocorp. has been the top selling brand when it comes to two-wheelers and despite this drop in sales figures the company still enjoys being at the top most spot domestically as well as internationally.  

Hero’s Maestro Edge, the 110cc scooter from the Delhi based auto maker is the second bestselling scooter in Indian market following Honda Activa and it is the same scooter which is being sold as ‘Dash’ in the Columbian market. Hero is all set to unveil its new offerings this year at the upcoming motorshow, the AutoExpo 2016. One of the most awaited motorcycles from Hero is the HX250R which is expected to hit the market very soon.
