Hero MotoCorp garnered pretty good attention at the EICMA 2017 with its production ready Xpulse 200 adventure bike. With the brand’s much awaited Xtreme 200R already launched, now, the homegrown two-wheeler manufacturer is preparing to launch the next 200cc offering Xpulse 200 and it is expected to hit showrooms by March 2019. The Hero Xpulse 200 will be powered by the same engine as Xtreme 200R and it will arrive as the spiritual successor of Impulse 200.
Hero Xpulse 200 spots an aggressive stance. It boasts a round LED headlamp, fully digital display, crafted fuel tank, a flat and lowered ergonomically designed rider seat, silver finished grab rail, raised exhaust. The raised front mudguard, multispoke wheels wrapped with dual-purpose tyres certainly add zing to the bike.
Speaking about the power source of the Hero Xpulse 200, the bike comes drawing energy from the 200 cc oil-cooled, dual-valve, single-cylinder engine that is mated to a 5-speed transmission. The engine churns out 18 bhp of peak power at 8,000 rpm and 17 Nm of peak torque from 6,500 rpm. Apart from that, expect the bike to offer generous fuel efficiency as well. As it seems, the brand is betting big on the adventure tourer and it could be a very special product from the company upon launch.
