Hero MotoCorp recently launched three new motorcycles at an event in the capital - Xpulse 200, Xpulse 200T and Xtreme 200S. As per an industry report, few dealerships have confirmed that the Hero Xtreme 200S is receiving higher demand than the Xpulse 200 Twins. For the update, the Xtreme 200S is costliest out of the lot, the faired motorcycle was launched at a price of Rs 98,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The off-road focused Hero Xpulse 200 was launched with a price tag of Rs 97,000 while the road-based Xpulse 200T was launched at Rs 94,000.

All the above-mentioned motorcycles are carburettor variants and only the Xpulse 200 got a fuel-injection variant, priced at Rs 1.05 lakh. However, the power figures of the carb and fuel-injection variants remain the same. Powering the Hero Xtreme 200S is a single-cylinder, air-cooled 199.6 CC motor. This motor is capable of churning out 18.4 bhp of peak power at 8,000 rpm and 17.1 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine sits in a diamond type frame and it is linked to a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox. The suspension setup includes 37mm telescopic forks at the front and 7-step adjustable mono shock at the back.

Anchoring department of the Hero Xtreme 200S packs a 276 mm single disc at the front and 220 mm single disc at the rear, the braking power gets further enhanced by a single-channel ABS equipped in the motorcycle. The Xtreme 200S sails on 17 inchers at both front and rear and has 795mm of seat height which will assist the rider to easily navigate through the city's bumper to bumper traffic.

The Hero Xtreme 200S has 12.5-litre of fuel capacity and it gets a single-unit LED headlamp as well as LED tail lamp. The fully-faired motorcycle is available in three colour options - Mapple Brown, Sports Red and Panther Black.
