Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd., is bracing up to bring the Activa 5G in two limited-edition shades. The Honda Activa scooter is available in STD and DLX versions and the scooters will come in limited-edition colour options which gets a hike of Rs 400. The limited-edition Honda Activa STD price is Rs 55,032, whereas the limited-edition Activa DLX price is Rs 56,897 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Bookings are being taken by the dealers for the scooter, and deliveries are expected from later this week.

The special dual-shade scheme choices include silver and black option and a pearl white and gold option. On the other hand, the seat and apron on the pearl white and gold model get a brown finish. Both the scooters boast of smoked-black wheels, a pinstripe down the front mudguard and one along with the side body panels with a ‘Limited Edition’ decal.

It is expected that the new Honda scooters will carry the existing 109.1cc motor that can produce 8.1bhp of peak power and 9Nm of max torque. Apart from that, it is known that a new freshly upgraded BS-6 compliant Honda Activa is being developed. Nonetheless, the limited-edition shades offering can be counted as a measure to tackle the dip in sales of the Activa scooter.
