Honda Activa 6G, the BS6 version of the popular scooter, will launch on January 15, 2020.
The pricing of the new Honda Activa 6G will be around Rs 6,000 to Rs 8,000 more than the outgoing Honda Activa 5G and will be in the range of Rs 60,000 to Rs 65,000.

The Honda Activa 6G will be launching on January 15, 2020, in a price band of around Rs 60,000 to Rs 65,000.
Honda Activa has a reputation for being the highest selling scooter brand in India for some time now. The current model, Honda Activa 5G, comes with a BS4-compliant engine. In keeping with BS6 emission norms, Honda has announced that it will be launching the upgraded version of the Honda Activa on January 15, 2020. Appropriately, the vehicle gets the brand name, Honda Activa 6G.
The highlight of the new vehicle is its compliance with BS6 emission norms. The Honda Activa 6G engine will be the same one available on the existing Honda Activa 5G. It is a 109.19cc HET air-cooled version that produces a power of 7.96ps and a torque of 9Nm. The engine will be an upgraded one to comply with BS6 norms. The vehicle will come equipped with a new idle-stop system apart from fuel injection technology. One can expect the BS6-compliant engine to deliver comparatively less power than the existing one.
Apart from the BS6-compliant engine, the new Honda Activa 6G will have additional features. Customers have responded favorably to the connectivity wave launched by various carmakers in recent times. Honda takes the movement further by planning to introduce smart features on the Honda Activa 6G. It could include Bluetooth connectivity features and thereby, enabling users to connect their smartphones and access a range of controls and other exciting features.
On the safety front, the Honda Activa 6G will be a better-equipped vehicle with features like telescopic forks, CBS, disc brake options, and 12-inch alloy wheels. Some of the other elements could include a comprehensive instrument cluster USB charging facility and a side-stand engine inhibitor.
Scooter lovers might not have to wait long for the delivery, as Honda promises to start the deliveries immediately after the launch on January 15, 2020.
