Honda Car India has silently introduced new variants in its entry-level Amaze sedan and Brio hatchback line-up. The compact sedan Amaze now also has a VX (O) trim, which sits at the top of the entire variant line-up and is available with petrol as well as diesel guise. On the other hand, Brio hatchback gets a new VX variant, which is on offer with both manual as well as automatic transmissions.
Talking about the Amaze VX (O), it features the company's AVN Package. The Honda Audio-Video and Navigation (AVN) Package includes company's 15.7-inch touch-screen display which is loaded with maps and a voice-guided navigation interface. It also features DVD/CD, Bluetooth music streaming and telephony, USB, AUX, iPod connectivity and MP3 playback along with an AM/FM radio.
As for the Brio's VX trim, it gets an all-black interiors as compared to the dual-tone color scheme, and also features the Honda AVN Package. Moreover, the company has partially tweaked the speedometer of both Brio and Amaze and now both cars also feature power folding wing mirrors. Honda Amaze also boasts a rear defogger apart from the power folding wing mirrors.
The company has launched the Amaze VX (O) in petrol trim at a sticker price of Rs 7.32 lakh, while in diesel guise, it has been priced at Rs 8.20 lakh (Ex. Showroom, Delhi). Similarly, the Brio VX petrol manual variant gets an introductory price of Rs 5.99 lakh, whereas the VX gasoline automatic model comes at a price tag of Rs 6.78 lakh (Ex. Showroom, Delhi). Additionally, Honda has announced that a CNG version of Amaze would be launched soon in the Indian market.
