Honda has announced that its customers in UK will be able to order the new CBR300R from August 4, 2014 with a price tag of £ 4,299 (Rs 4.4 lakhs). Honda had made the bike 'live' on its UD website sometime in June arising the speculations of its early release. The bike, which would be a stroked version of its CBR250R, would be a 286cc, 30bhp motorcycle will compete head-on with the Kawasaki Ninja 300. Being single cylinder it will have a good torque but a significant 9bhp lesser than its Kawasaki rival. This price tag is lesser than Kawasaki's by £ 900 which might make people prefer it over the Ninja 300. The CBR300R will be available in three shades: Millennium Red, Metallic Black and HRC paint scheme. Honda UK will start delivering the motorcycle by the end of August. Honda has not commented on its availability in the Indian market so far which makes the Honda enthusiasts sulk a little.
