Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has released its sales figure for July 2014 and the numbers are really promising. In the scooter segment, Honda strengthened its presence by selling an all time high 2,23,665 units this July. Honda also claimed 28% of the overall domestic sales whereas the domestic+export market share was 25%.

These numbers are very impressive as Honda is doing everything it can to capture more and more of the market share. With the launch of CD 110 Dream and CB Shine in two new colour schemes, Honda is sure of the growth to go keep going up in the time to come. To penetrate more into the rural segment which forms the main sales point for most of the two-wheeler manufacturer in India, HMSI has tied-up with Sarv Haryana Gramin Bank and Uttarakhand Gramin Bank for the markets in Haryana and Uttarakhand.
