Honda Cars India Kicks Off 5th ‘Drive to Discover’ Rally

Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) has flagged off the 5th edition of ‘Drive to Discover’ Mobilio rally in Coimbatore. The company has been conducting this rally from the past 4 years to showcase the quality, durability and reliability of Honda cars. In this rally, 11 auto enthusiasts of leading automobile web portals and magazines have participated. During this rally, the auto-pundits would cover an estimated distance of 700 kilometers.

Expressing his views at the event, the Senior Vice President (Sales and Marketing) at Honda, Jnaneswar Sen was quoted as saying, “Drive to Discover has been one of our most sought after initiatives. The drive enables the participants to explore a place in all its glory and colors. The Honda Mobilio with its unmatched performance, mileage and space would be an ideal drive partner for the glorious journey. I am sure that the Honda Mobilio will enable the drivers to explore the picturesque corners of the country.”

The 'Drive to Disover' rally would take the participants through mountainous terrain, dense forests, sprawling grasslands, picturesque lakes and miles and miles of tea gardens. The participants would take breaks at Bandipur Tiger reserve and the mountainous district of Coorg during this 700 kms long rally. It would come to an end at Bangalore. Ever since its launch in July 2014, the 7-seater Honda Mobilio has sold more than 27,500 units till date.
