Honda CB 650 Scrambler concept unveiled at Bangkok Motor Show

Snapshot: After its debut in last year’s EICMA, CB 650 Scrambler made its second official appearance at this year’s Bangkok Motor Show!

The Japanese auto maker, Honda, has recently unveiled the CB 650 scrambler concept at the 2016 Bangkok Motor Show, Thailand. CB 650 is a very popular middle-weight roadster from Honda and the company gave a twist to it by transforming it into a striking looking scrambler that seemed to be the most popluar motorcycle at the show.

The motorcycle wears brown and silver dual tone paint scheme and that along with round headlamp, wide and flat handle-bar, raised exhaust, meaty tyres and peach coloured seat designed specially to give it a rough old-school scrambler look. It takes the meaning of neo-retro to the next level and in fact the bike looks so good that it can be said as among the best unveils at the Bangkok Motor Show.

It features LED lamps and DRLs, advance dashboard, dual purpose Pirelli MT-60 tyres, dual disc at the front with radially-mounted Brembos and smashing looking golden USDs upfront and it gives the bike a modern touch. Not to forget its killer looking custom megaphone four into one exhaust that looks like it been designed using guns and artilleries.

It drives its power from a liquid-cooled, 4-cylinder 650cc engine that delivers a healthy 86bhp of maximum power and 63Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a 6-speed gear box. This power house takes the bike from standstill to 100 kmph in just 3.4 seconds which is seriously fast and also in top gear the bike reaches up to 265 kmph. Isn’t that crazy? Yes it is!
