Honda has been up its game at the ongoing Auto Expo. The company showcased a couple of new bikes and scooter in the form of the new X-Blade, 2018 CBR 250R, and the Activa 5G. Apart from these new models, Honda also brought the new 2018 CB Hornet 160R ABS at the show that comes along with new features and colors for 2018.
The new bike is offered with newly designed headlights which are now full LED, new colors, and optional ABS (which was absent earlier). The bike also comes with a slightly revised full digital instrument panel.
Apart from that, the bike runs on the same 162.7cc, air-cooled engine as seen on the older bike delivering 14.9bhp at 8500rpm and peak torque of 14.5Nm comes at 6500rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
In terms of braking, the bike is offered with dual disc brakes (rear drum brake in the base version), and single-channel optional ABS is a new addition. The bike competes against the highly famous Suzuki Gixxer 150, and the Bajaj Pulsar 160 NS.
Stay tuned for more updates from the Auto Expo 2018.
