Honda CBR 250RR to be a production model soon
Snapshot: When launched it will compete against other super sport motorcycles like KTM RC390 and Kawasaki Ninja 300.
The Honda CBR250RR concept was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show last year and since then the concept went on to become one of the most talked about motorcycles. This radical super sport machine by Honda is rumoured to be taken into production by October this year. The bike has been designed taking close inspiration from Honda’s current supersport range.
Though technical details on the CBR250RR aren’t known yet but we expect it to carry a newly built parallel twin liquid-cooled engine that will be tuned to deliver a ferocious amount of power and torque for a quarter-litre engine. The bike will also be equipped with technical goodies like ride-by-wire throttle assembly, ABS and switchable riding modes.
When launched, Indonesian market will be the first one to get a taste of the CBR250RR on the other hand, Indian market will have to wait a little longer for its launch. It will compete against other beginner segment supersport contenders like the KTM RC390, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and the Yamaha YZF-R3.
