Honda CBR250RR New official video released; Launch in 2017
Snapshot: Honda released a new video of CBR250RR, emphasising on the characteristics of the motorcycle.
After much anticipation, Honda recently introduced its most powerful entry level sports bike, the CBR250RR in Indonesia. Unlike CBR250R, this new model will be a performance oriented motorcycle and will receive 2-cylinder engine. The Honda also released a new video of its upcoming motorcycle on its official YouTube Channel. The Company is expected to launch this 250cc sportbike somewhere in 2017 and prices will be announced alongside. So will it compete against? Based on its specifications, it will compete against the likes of Kawasaki Ninja 300, KTM RC 390 and Yamaha YZF-R3 bike.
Powering its motor is a powerful 250cc, liquid-cooled, 2-cylinder engine, though there is no official information available about its power output, but since its redline is set at 14,000 rpm, it is expected to produce somewhere between 36-38 bhp of power and an estimated torque of 30-32Nm. Its other notable features include- a dual eagle-eye headlamps, clip-on handlebars, ride-by-wire technology, Anti-braking system and three riding modes- Sport, sport+ and comfort. We are not sure if Honda is going to bring this beast in Indian two-wheeler market, but we really hope that they do. If launched, we expect the new Honda CBR250RR to be priced somewhere between Rs 3.50 lakh to Rs 4 lakh.
