Honda is planning to launch their all new CBR650F motorcycle in coming few months and as we told you earlier some of the dealers have already started with the bookings at INR 50,000. According to the specifications sheet Honda CBR650F keeps its promise of being a powerful sports tourer motorcycle. The specifications sheet has compared the motorcycle with its competition such as Triumph Street Triple, Kawasaki Ninja 650 and Ducati Monster 695 and according to it the CBR650F carries the most powerful engine within its competition while Monster’s power figures are almost equivalent to the CBR650F ones as both delivers near 87bhp of power.
Chances are that Honda might launch the CBR650F at a price tag near INR 8lakhs. For present CBR650F will be available only in single shade of Pearl Metalloid White (Tricolour) that was showcased earlier at the 2014 Auto Expo. Speaking of the bike it is powered from a 649cc inline four cylinder that is capable of producing a maximum power of 87bhp at 11,000rpm and 63 Nm of torque at 8000rpm. CBR650R comes equipped with 320mm dual disc brakes at the front and a 240mm single disc at the rear. CBR650F looks like a very good package over-all but considering this to be Indian market which is very price sensitive, the success of CBR650F will mainly depend upon how well Honda manages to price its new sports tourer.
