Honda gained 156% Sales Increase in July

HCIL (Honda Cars India Limited), the foremost Japanese manufacturer of premium cars in India, quoted a sales intensification of 156% in the month of July 2013, the company sold around 11,223 vehicles on July 2013 when compared with last years (2012) July value of 4,386. Not just that, the corporation sold 40,350 vehicles and recorded a snowballing increase of 65% for the period of April and July 2013, which is a very good increase when compared with last year's assessment of 24,462 to the exact same period. 756 units were also exported in the same month of July.

Sales value expansion, car wise for the month of July 2013:

  • Honda Amaze - 6515 units sold
  • Brio - 2602 units sold
  • Accord - 20 units sold
  • City - 1953 units sold
  • CR-V - 133 units sold

So the domestic total is 11,223 units, and adding the export value of 756 units to the domestic total, gives a grand total of 11,979 automobiles.

Mr. Jnaneswar Sen, the Senior Vice President of Honda’s Sales and Marketing Division of India, said that, the new Honda Amaze, the first diesel car of Honda, has clocked its highest monthly sales ever since production, precisely 6515 units in the month of July 2013. The car is also retaining excellent escalation impetus, by selling more than 24,000 models since its birth in India. As a premeditated pronouncement the company campaigns to begin a 3rd shift from November of 2013, to trim down the waiting period of the highly successful Amaze. The initiative of the company is to guarantee purchaser’s expediency and add details to the development for the awe-inspiring demand of the diesel sedans.
