Honda India adds VX (O) variant to City lineup

Snapshot: Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) has added a new variant to the City lineup. The new variant is called the VX (O) grade and will sit above the existing VX variant.

Honda Cars is the leading premium car manufacturer in India thanks to the segment leader Honda City. The mid-size sedan sits comfortably on the leader board with rivals way behind. And now Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) has added a new variant to the City lineup. The new variant is called the VX (O) grade and will sit above the existing VX variant.

The VX (O) variant will come only with manual transmission and in both petrol & diesel guise. The Japanese auto giant also added a new premium color - the White Orchid Pearl to the city line-up. The new variant will come loaded with an advanced integrated touchscreen Audio Visual Navigation (AVN) system.

The AVN features a large 15.7 cm touchscreen that has a satellite-based voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation, with other connectivity features like DVD/CD Playback, Bluetooth, USB, AUX, i-POD, MP3, FM/ AM, Rear Camera Display. It will also come with a security alarm feature with 2 transmitter keys that will facilitate keyless entry.

The prices (ex showroom New Delhi) of the newly introduced grades of Honda City are as follows:

VX(O) Petrol – Rs 1,064,000

VX(O) Diesel – Rs 1,183,500
