The 2016 FIA MotoGP season was quite successful for Honda’s racing wing the Repsol Honda. The Repsol Honda team has won constructor's title for the season of 2016, and its rider Marc Marquez has ended up as the best rider on the planet. To celebrate the success in the MotoGP Honda motorcycle and scooter, India has introduced a limited edition of its decently popular CBR 250R as the Repsol Honda racing replica.

The special edition CBR250R can now be booked through Honda dealerships. However, the pricing hasn’t been revealed yet. The limited edition will be dressed in Team HRC’s attire, and the bike will be available in two variants along with the names of the two riders of Team HRC. The 250cc motorcycle from the house of Honda gets its paint job inspired by the brilliant RC213V racing motorcycle and additionally it sports MotoGP graphics. It also proudly showcases the numbers of the two riders, which signifies their legacy. Back in 2013, Honda had also sold a limited edition CBR 250R, so this is not the first time that Honda has introduced a limited edition motorcycle.

However, in terms of the mechanicals the motorcycle remains the same as before. Just like its conventional counterpart, it is also powered by a liquid cooled, 249cc, 4-Stroke engine that can develop a maximum power of 26.15 bhp at 8500rpm and 22.9 Nm of peak torque at 7000 rpm. For brilliant performance, the engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission system, that sends all the power to the rear wheel of the bike.

According to, the HMSI Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Yadvinder Singh Guleria, after the brilliant performance and success of Repsol Honda Team at the 2016 MotoGP season, the Japanese company wanted to offer customers and racing enthusiasts, a unique experience that will allow them to own a motorcycle that is a replica of Repsol Racing. The company has adopted Team Repsol Honda's paint and graphic scheme directly inspired by the legendary RC213V including the numbers of Team HRC’s star riders, Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa in order to make this replica even more tempting.
