Honda Cars India has introduced a new 'Anytime Warranty' program in the country. This plan can be purchased by the car owners when the standard warranty or extended warranty of their Honda car has expired, regardless of the model year of the car.
Presently, the Japanese automaker offers a standard warranty of 3 years/unlimited km alongside an extended warranty of 2 years, which makes it 5 years/unlimited km.
The 'Anytime Warranty' plan covers the entire range of Honda products such as City, Amaze, Civic, Jazz, WR-V, BR-V, CR-V and Accord Hybrid. Even the discontinued models in the Indian market such as Brio and Mobilio are eligible for this program.
The only thing before availing this program the car owner must check is if their car is not older than 10 years and it has not crossed 1.20 Lakh kilometers. The car owners can buy the 'Anytime Warranty' plan on an annual basis which will cover their car for a year or 20,000 km.
In fact, if the car has been always serviced and maintained by the owner at Honda authorized service centers only with proper records, then the 'Anytime Warranty' plan attracts a relatively cheaper price. However, if there is a lapse in the service records. then the program will cost a lot more. This plan covers all the defective parts and the dealer can either offer a replacement or repairing.
The 'Anytime Warranty' can be purchased from any company authorized dealer outlet and it is also transferable so if a buyer wishes to sell the car, the warranty will be shifted in the name of a new owner.
