Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) launched the most awaited CBR 650F in India few days back and showcased the new 160cc CB Hornet 160R. While Honda India kept a hold on the CBR300R and the twin headlights CBR250R/CBR150R. Apart from some cosmetic upgrades Honda didn’t alter the present CB250R and CBR150R models. Recently Honda launched their 2016 CB150R motorcycle in the Indonesian market at a price of Rp 25.4million (equivalent to INR 1.20 lakhs).
The all new CB 150R runs on a 150cc DOHC, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 17ps of power and 14Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The 2016 CB150R receives all new redesigned muscular looks. The front is equipped with a two-level headlight assembly while the old blinkers has been replaced with LED ones. The motorcycle is equipped with a 12-litre fuel tank and the key hole is mounted on the on the plastic cladding above the fuel tank. Instead of the split seats, CB150R comes with single seat for more comfort. Apart from all these changes, the new CB150R comes with an all new digital instrument cluster that is composed of the speedometer, odometer, tachometer, fuel gauge and a digital clock. We don’t think Honda will launch this CB150R in India anytime soon.
