Honda launches Activa 125 - its first 125 cc automatic scooter in India - with price starting from Rs. 52,447

In order to move closer to the number one spot, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India on Monday launched a more potent version of its highly successful scooter, Activa. The scooter is designed to cater to the existing customers who want to upgrade a more powerful version, and also to the first time buyers.

Today, the automatic scooters form almost 24% of the entire two-wheeler market. Two variants - Standard and Deluxe will be available in four different colour options - Pearl Sunbeam White, Midnight Blue Metallic, Asteroid Black Metallic and Force Silver Metallic. It will come studded with features like Combi-brake/disc brake, tubeless tyres, digital metre, and many more.

The heart of the Activa will be a 125 cc deliv'ering a sufficient 8.6 bhp (0.6 bhp more than the 109 cc Activa) at 6,500 rpm and a torque of 10.12 Nm at 5,500 rpm. Honda's patented Honda Eco Technology (HET) will help you get more per litre without compromising on the performance, hence delivering best-in-class mileage.

Every Activa 125 will come with the Combined Braking System (CBS) as a standard fitment whereas the Deluxe variant will come loaded with a 190 mm front disc brake for superior control.

The Standard variant will cost Rs. 52,447 and the Deluxe variant will start from Rs. 58,156 (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).
