Honda’s funky scooter Navi has crossed the prestigious milestone of one lakh unit sales after its launch two and half years ago. The sporty moto-scooter was first showcased at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo and it was the first model fully developed by Honda R&D India. Priced at Rs 44,775 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Honda Navi draws power from the same engine that powers the Honda Activa.

In India Honda Navi is yet to be very popular, but the scooter has garnered attention from the young urban buyers thanks to its sporty character. Apart from Indian market, the Honda Navi is also sold to 10 countries across the globe. Speaking about the achievement, HMSI’s senior vice president, sales and marketing, Mr. Yadvinder Singh Guleria said, "The trendy Navi is a style statement and trendsetter for the youth. The unconventional design, looks and endless possibilities of customization has helped us to engage young 2Wheeler enthusiasts not only in India, but around the world.”
While the stock version of Honda Navi looks pretty attractive, the scooter also offers unique customisation options to the owners with the wide range of accessories. Speaking about its power source, the Honda Navi gets energy from a 109 cc single-cylinder motor that is mated to a CVT. This engine churns out 7.89 bhp of peak power at 7,000 rpm and 8.96 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm.
