The Japanese auto maker, Honda, took the world by surprise when they launched the Navi at the AutoExpo 2016 at a very affordable price of Rs 39,500 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). The manufacturer has despatched the first batch that is up for delivery to the dealerships in Mumbai. The scooter will initially be available only in Mumbai followed by other metro cities of the country.

It is a cross-over between a scooter and a motorcycle and hence it can’t be categorised purely as a scooter. It propels the tried and tested 110cc single-cylinder engine that has been taken from the famous Activa and it delivers a healthy 8bhp of maximum power and 9Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a CVT transmission. Icing on the cake, it will be available in three body styles to serve people with different tastes. The different body styles includes Navi Street, Navi Adventure and the Navi Off-road. Following the booking technique as the Hornet 160R, Honda has commenced the Navi bookings through the special application that allows anyone to book the unit from anywhere. Honda has already received over 1,000 bookings for the Navi. Stay tuned for more updates and type in your comments in the section below.
