Honda sales grows by 19 per cent this October

Snapshot: The Japanese auto maker managed to sell 4,49,028 units as compared to 3,77,001 units in the same month last year.

As the festive season approaches, automobile’s demand reaches to another level in India. Every other major auto manufacturer has introduced new offers to allure new customers in this festive season. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) has just reported that the company has experienced an overall growth of 19 per cent in terms of October sales.

The Japanese auto maker managed to sell 4,49,028 units as compared to 3,77,001 units in the same month last year. As we know scooter market in India is on boom, Honda recorded a tremendous growth in terms of scooter sales as the company sold 2,70,271 units as compared to 1,99,466 units in October, 2014. When talking about exports, Honda exported 16,972 units this October. Honda has also stated that the company sold almost 90,000 units on the special occasion of Dusshera.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI), is looking forward to introduce a brand new product CB Hornet 160R in the Indian Motorcycle market. CB Hornet 160R competes directly against Suzuki Gixxer 150 and Yamaha FZ16. Let us know your views on the same in the comment section below.
