Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. has surpassed the historic 25 million sales mark in the Indian scooter market. While crossing the landmark 25 million figure, Honda has become the only manufacturer in India to achieve this milestone. Now, it is numero-uno scooter selling two-wheeler brand in the country with dominant 57 percent market share as every 2nd scooter sold in India is a Honda. The company has the largest scooter portfolio in the industry ranging from rural-utilitarian Cliq to India’s top-selling Activa to the premium 125cc range including Activa 125 & Grazia.

Honda achieved the 10 million sales mark in 13 years while it took the company merely 3 years to add the next 10 million. Furthermore, it added the next 5 million within a year's time, which is an industry first record. Scooterization revived 18 years ago across the country, when Honda launched the iconic Activa in the dying scooter segment. It accelerated the segment contribution from just 10 percent in 2001 to the current 32 percent in 2018. Honda's current scooter portfolio comprises of Activa 5G (Rs 53,865 - Rs 55,730), Grazia (Rs 59,922 - Rs 64,293), Dio (Rs 52,137 - Rs 54,137), Aviator (Rs 55,457 - Rs 59,811), Activa i (Rs 50,173), Activa 125 (Rs 59,921 - Rs 64,307) and Cliq (Rs 44,664 - Rs 45,166).
