Honda sells 21% more two-wheelers this April

Snapshot: The number of two-wheelers sold by HMSI in April 2014 is 54,334 more than what it sold in April last year

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) recently released its sales figure for April 2014. And figures say that Honda is doing pretty well than its competitors. Where Bajaj roughly sold 3 lakh two-wheelers, Honda managed to outdo it by selling roughly 14,000 more units than its competitor.

Total number of two-wheelers sold by HMSI in April last year was 259,608 whereas this year the number has increased to 313,942 which makes it a 21% growth for HMSI. The number of scooters sold was 175,837, whereas 138,105 motorcycles were sold this April making it a 29% of growth for scooters and a humble 12% of jump for motorcycles.
