It’s not long since Honda introduced the all new Unicorn 160 replacing the old Unicorn. Honda launched the new Unicorn 160 last year in the month of December and now the company has recently announced that their motorcycle has already crossed a mark of one lakh units’ sales, making it a worthy successor to the old cult Unicorn. The old Unicorn ruled the commuter segment for almost a decade and it was among the best selling motorcycles from Honda. Honda introduced the all new Unicorn with more of a modified chassis from the old one, the revised styling brought Unicorn a fresh new look and more importantly a bigger engine that delivers good amount of power.
Unicorn 160 runs on a 163cc engine that produces 14.7bhp power and 14.6Nm of torque. This power output is well enough to provide the Unicorn a brisk acceleration and comfortable cruising at speeds higher than 90km/hr. Honda claims fuel-efficiency of 55kmpl and with a fuel tank of 12litres, Unicorn 160 can cover more than 600 kilometers without getting empty. Honda’s promising quality and high reliability makes the Unicorn an outstanding package over-all and a worthy successor to carry the Unicorn’s legacy forward. Honda has priced the two variants of Unicorn 160 at INR 77,199(Ex-Showroom, Mumbai) for Disc Variant, INR 82,619(Ex-showroom, Mumbai) for CBS variant.
