Honda has revealed its full range of motorcycles that are queued up for release in 2017, ahead of the EICMA show to be held in Milan. The new range from Honda includes new models like the X-ADV, as well as some existing models like CBR1000RR Fireblade, Forza 125 etc., with extensive upgradations and the likes.
Dubbed as a new breed of motorcycles by Honda, the X-ADV is a combination of a rough off-road appeal, finesse of SUV styling and hardcore premium specifications. The 745cc twin-cylinder engine, which is driven by dual clutch transmission, tough chassis and an advanced long upside down suspension make it ever-so-mesmerizing motorcycle. With an inclination toward off-road riding, the X-ADV is equipped with hand guards, under the seat storage for off-road style helmet and a large multi-feature LCD display.
Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade
The supersport motorcycle celebrates its 25 years,since it re-defined the motorcycles in this segment, with the upgradation of the CBR1000RR Fireblade into SP and SP2 versions. As usual, strong focus has been put on its agility and handling. Majority of its components face a revision to bring about a straight 16-kg reduction on its kerb weight. Standing at a world class weight of 195-kg, coupled with a top 8kW power, the upgraded Fireblades gets an improvement power-to-weight ratio to 14%, something that is yet unseen the history.
CRF250L and CRF250 Rally
The motorcycles from the CRF family gets upgradations right after a year of its introduction as the CRF1000L Africa Twin. The revised intake and exhaust system and a new throttle body makes both the siblings more powerful and pure motocross ”R” structured. The optional ABS, big front disk, high ground clearance and knuckle guard make it a great off-road motorcycle.
CB650F and CBR650F
This four-cylinder naked bike gets a wide range of upgradations. The stronger and louder engine, upgraded brakes and a more forward riding position make it to the top most noticeable changes.
The commuters motorcycles
The top three commuters vehicles, Vision, Forza 125 and SH125i, receives noticeable changes. Europe’s most popular scooter, the Forza 125, gets its premium specifications enhanced further with the inclusion of Honda Smart Key system, better rear suspension and city grip tyres
