The end of 2014 MotoGP season will also mean the end of Dani Pedrosa's contract with Honda Racing Corporation, and people have been speculating on various possibilities that might arise. Honda has refuted the claims by saying that keeping Pedrosa is a priority for the team. This comment also means a lot to not only Pedrosa's fans, but also to HRC as Dani Pedrosa has won maximum races for the team than any other rider. However, even after 8 years in the premier class he still has to win a championship, but it doesn't mean anything to those who have seen him riding a Honda in a Grand Prix.

Pedrosa's teammate  Marc Marquez has already extended his contract with Honda until the end of 2016, but Pedrosa is still to break his silence over the suspense.

Commenting on the rumours, HRC Team Principal, Livio Suppo said, "For sure, we will speak with Alberto (Puig, Pedrosa's manager). Of course, the priority for Dani is to remain here and the priority for Honda is to keep him here – and that is what we have to do. Now we will go ahead, but there is no rush.”
