Honda is all-set to officially launch the new Activa 125 on 28th April in India. Dealers have already started taking bookings for the new model and have also received the first lot, so that deliveries can be commenced soon after its launch. The new Activa is priced at Rs 52,000 for its standard variant while the front disc brake equipped Deluxe variant is priced at Rs 58,000 (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).

Unveiled at 2014 Auto Expo, the new Activa 125 is powered by a newly-developed single-cylinder, four-stroke, 124.9cc engine that produces 8.6bhp at 6500rpm and 10.12Nm of torque at 5500rpm. While being the most powerful scooter from Honda in India, the Activa 125 uses a V-Matic transmission and telescopic suspension at the front.

Honda has redesigned this Activa and has given it a nice look. Bold chrome accents at the front, crystal type side indicators, combination tail lamp and indicator unit at rear and sharp lines to other body elements makes the Activa 125 look more appealing over the other Activa scooters in the range. The new scooter competes with the likes of Suzuki Access and Vespa in India. All in all, good time for Activa fans.
