Talking about the new addition in the Honda’s bike range, Mr. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President - Sales and Marketing, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd., said, “The aggressive and futuristic new X-Blade has been designed for millennials and Gen-Z. As promised, we have started the dispatches of X-Blade in March 2018. Armed with more style, Honda’s tried and tested HET 160cc engine, and superior technology, X-Blade creates a new benchmark with several segment-first features in its class and that too at an attractive price of Rs. 78,500 (Ex-showroom, Delhi).”

In aesthetic terms, the new X-Blade boasts a commanding front stance. It gets segment-first LED headlamp that lends it a robotic look and the light-throw is brighter than the regular halogen lamps. It additionally gets rigidity sculpted fuel tank and razor-edged LED tail-lamps. There is a sharply designed grab rail which further accentuates the aggressive look. Moreover, the rear tyre hugger fender protects the underbody from mud accumulation and the dual outlet muffler with a chrome tip adds sporty flair to it.

The prowess propels on Honda’s 162.71cc, HET engine with 13.93 bhp of power at 8,500rpm and 13.9Nm torque at 6,000rpm. Honda has designed the engine such that delivers good low and mid-range performance. It gets link type gear shifter that enable precise and smooth shifts, while the 130mm rear tyre and mono shock rear suspension offer better handling during cornering. On the feature front, the new X-Blade gets a long seat, seat chain, hazard switch, tech digital meter with indicator, digital clock and a gear position indicator. The new Honda X-Blade can be had in five colours including-Matte Marvel Blue Metallic / Matte Frozen Silver Metallic / Pearl Spartan Red / Pearl Igneous Black and Matte Marshal Green Metallic.
