Honda's 250cc supersports concept

Till date it was just the CBR250R which was holding grounds for Honda in the 250cc segment, but it looks like the Japanese automaker is now in a very serious mood to scare its competitors off. Honda has officially come up with the first picture of a mean 250cc supersports concept motorcycle. It is expected that the Japs will showcase the bike for the first time at the Tokyo Motor show which will take place next month. This 250cc offering will go head-on to the recently released Yamaha R3 and the old player of the segment Kawasaki Ninja 300, while motor under the fairing will be a monster will be a parallel twin.

Words from the Honda’s official statement, “Designed with the key phrase ‘strong presence’, this next-generation super sport concept model and features a look possessing a sense of speed that comes from its long nose and low crouching position. The combination of a plane architecture, which indicates the sense of hardness and solidity, and sharp edges emphasize the aggressive look of this model. Moreover, the exterior featuring matte-black-based low-contrast graphics expresses beauty and the remarkable form.”
