Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd is taking the Indian riders to an international racing platform. The first ever India racing team comprised of Indian riders are head to Japan for the round 3 of 2018 Asia Road Racing Championship. The team will battle with the best riders of Asia at the legendary Suzuka Circuit.
As the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer says, racing is the heart of the brand and its wing too has special focus to develop iconic Indian riders for national and international championships. The brand also revealed that the team is fully charged to on the iconic Suzuka Circuit. Honda believes the team will make the country proud by performing greatly at the Suzuka.
At the round 2 of the 2018 Asia Road Racing Championship in Australia, Anish Shetty did a spectacular performance. Honda’s second ridr Rajiv Sethu will make a comeback in the upcoming race after a wrist injury during practice in Australia that prevented him from racing at Bend Motorsport Park. Meanwhile, Anish Shetty has been honing his skills with Taiga Hada in Japan.
Held since 1996, the Asia Road Racing Championship is Asia’s most competitive motorcycle road racing championship. The 2018 edition of the championship has 64 riders from 8 Asian and Oceania countries battling in an intense six round competition.
