Honda's new commuter motorcycle spotted
Snapshot: While HMSI has already declared the launch of CBR 650F of August 4th a new motorcycle was spied testing recently
Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) announced that they will be coming up with 15 new launches this year and it looks like they are going good on their promise. Just few weeks back Honda launched the new commuter motorcycle, Livo 110 at an introductory price tag of INR 52,989 for Self-Drum-Alloy; and INR 55,489 for Self-Disc-Alloy (Ex-showroom, Delhi). While Honda has already declared the launch of CBR 650F of August 4th a new motorcycle was spied testing recently. From the images it looks like another commuter segment motorcycle with a 125cc engine (reported) under the body.
Our friends at GaadiWaadi.com came up with these spy images recently, the motorcycle looks production ready and it will be safe to assume that HMSI might declare its launch within a month or two. It will feature a 125cc engine based on HET technology which will result in decent fuel economy. The images show that motorcycle will not feature disc brakes at the front and so ofcourse not at the rear as well. But we hope that HMSI might introduce a higher premium variant equipped with disc brakes for safety point of view. Talking about the visuals, it looks like new commuter will receive wind-swept headlights, Honda Unicorn 160-style side-panels, conventional dual shock-absorber suspension, a dual-tone heat shield on the exhaust, and attractive body graphics. HMSI might introduce it in a price bracket of INR 55000 to INR 60000.
