The KTM owned dirt bike making company, Husqvarna has just unveiled the new Vitpilen 701 Aero concept at this year’s EICMA show in Milan, Italy. As seen in the pictures, the motorcycle is based hugely on the Vitpilen 701 concept that was on display at 2017 EICMA.
The new Vitpilen 701 Aero concept is the all-retro café racer of your dreams. Some basic changes that have been carried over from its parent bike is the obvious addition of front faring that houses a circular headlamp to give it an authentic 70’s inspired café racer look. The company also says that Aero concept will be much sportier to ride thanks to its aggressive set low slung handlebar and the high raised rear-set footpegs.
What makes the bike highly intriguing to look at is its futuristic disc wheel at the rear and the new slash-cut exhaust which gels in very nicely with the high raised angle of rear design. Rest it seems to be sharing the same tank design and frame to its parent bike. In terms of mechanicals, it uses the same 690cc, single-cylinder engine as on Vitpilen 701, churning out 72bhp and 73.5Nm of torque. While its Indian launch will not happen anytime soon, just in case you have any hopes.
