Hyundai will soon launch the Creta facelift in India this month. The new Creta was recently spotted undisguised at a dealership, and with the arrival of the new model gives a clear hint of the nearing launch event. The Hyundai Creta facelift is would be available in five trims - E, E+, S, SX and SX (O). Dealers have already started accepting the pre-booking of the model at a booking amount of Rs 25,000.
The latest spy shot reveals more about the model like the face gets a new cascade design to its front grille, a chrome frame flanked by new headlamps with projectors and a newly designed front bumper with revised fog lamp housing. Moving to the rear, the car features a new tail lamp design and revised bumpers and reflectors. Moreover, it gets integrated type roof rails along. Whereas, the higher variant would come with 17 inch dual-tone alloy wheels and sunroof. The car will also come with blacked-out A and B-pillars and ORVMs with integrated turn signals.
Speaking of the cabin, the Creta facelift is expected to come with the same dashboard layout, but there would be some minor changes to it. The seats will get new fabric seat covers and AC vents to be finished in bright metallic paint. While the variants with dual-tone exterior would get a colour contrast interior and few variants will also get features like cruise control and power adjustable driver seat.
Mechanically, the new Hyundai Creta will come packed with the same set of powertrains as seen on its predecessor - a 1.6-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine with 123bhp, a 1.6-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine with 126bhp and a small 1.4-litre 4-cylinder diesel that makes 89bhp of maximum power. In terms of transmission, you can choose between either a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox.
