Hyundai Creta now gets more features

Hyundai Creta is undoubtedly company’s best-seller in its segment and with more updates on the compact SUV; it is like the icing on the cake. The 2019 model year Creta gets more added features to its list along with the introduction of a new top-end variant – SX (O) Executive. Now, buyers can choose Creta from a choice of six variants, starting from the base version E to the top-of-the-line SX (O) Executive.

Hyundai offers the updated model with LED tail-lamps on the higher variants like SX, SX (O) and SX (O) Executive; whereas the SX manual variant also gets a dual-tone scheme on the outside. While on the inside, the entire model range gets eco-coating on the air-conditioner. The higher variant - SX (O) and SX (O) Executive also gets front ventilated seats. For the safety, Hyundai now offers seat-belt reminder, rear parking sensors and speed alert system across all the variants.

Coming to the engine specification, the car will come packed with the same set of powertrains - a1.6-litre petrol engine that makes 125hp of power with 151Nm of torque, a 1.4-litre that produces 89 bhp with 220 Nm and a 1.6-litre diesel mill that belts out 126 bhp with 260Nm of top torque. The 1.6L petrol engine is available on the E, E+, SX, SX (O) and SX (O) Executive trims, while the 1.6L diesel engine will be offered on the S, SX, SX (O) and SX (O) Executive variants, whereas the smaller 1.4L diesel unit will be offered on the E+ and S variants only.

Speaking of the transmission, the automatic gearbox will be available only with the 1.6L diesel S variant, SX trim of both petrol and diesel. More interestingly, only the 1.4L diesel S variant will be offered with a manual transmission and there is no manual gearbox of the 1.6-litre diesel S trim.
