Hyundai India has revealed that it has received a phenomenal response for the much awaited Creta compact SUV. Hyundai Creta would be officially launched on July 21, 2015 in the country. But prior to that, the South-Korean automajor has announced that Creta has received over 28,500 enquiries and 10,000 bookings. Just so you know, Hyundai released the first teaser video of Creta compact SUV around 10 days back.
Rakesh Srivastava, Senior Vice President - Sales & Marketing, Hyundai Motor India expressed, “CRETA has created immense excitement even before its launch with its bold and stylish looks. We are delighted to receive an overwhelming response with over 28,500 enquiries and 10,000 customers showing their interest to live the CRETA life. Hyundai Creta would have over 95 percent of localization at company's Chennai plant, which would ensure aggressive pricing in a domain of Rs. 7.5-11 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India).
The Creta would be launched in both petrol and diesel fuel trims with a total of 3 engines. It would be the only vehicle in its segment - comprising of Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano and Maruti S-Cross - to have an automatic variant.
