Hyundai has launched a sportier version of the popular SUV, Hyundai Creta by incorporating some feature additions and cosmetic tweaks. The new Hyundai Creta Sports Edition starting price is Rs 12.78 lakhs and goes up to Rs 14.13 lakhs. The SUV will come in two variants, the 1.6-litre petrol and diesel versions with manual transmission systems. It will have two colour combinations, as well – Polar White and Phantom Black. The Phantom Black roof on the Polar White version, a dual-tone model, will cost an additional Rs 11,000.
Other distinctive Hyundai Creta Sports Edition features include smoked projector headlamps, chrome-finish faux dual exhaust tips, and silver roof rails. The grille gets dark chrome finishing, thereby making it attractive. The Hyundai Creta Sports Edition interiors sport an all-black colour theme with black-coloured fabric seats having the words, Creta embossed on it. The steering wheel gets attractive leather wrapping to make it look different. The AC vents look different from the silver surrounds. The electric sunroof is a welcome addition that adds to the sportier look.
The Hyundai Creta Sports Edition comes equipped with exciting feature additions like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The automatic control system and the adjustable driver’s seat make it a pleasure to drive the Hyundai Creta Sports Edition. Other cosmetic tweaks include wireless smartphone charging facility and cruise control. ABS and dual airbags take care of the safety aspect of the passengers.
All these feature additions make the Hyundai Creta Sports Edition cost more than the SX variant by around Rs 54,000 to Rs 60,000.
