Hyundai has started testing over the Grand i10 facelift, the car was spotted for the first time doing some test rounds in the country. Wrapped up with heavy camouflage on the front, sides and rear, it clearly suggests that the new model by Hyundai will come up with a major facelift. There could be a possibility a similar facelift could be given to the Grand i10-based Xcent compact sedan in the near future.
The facelift has been introduced nearly three years after the launch of the Hyundai Grand i10 in India. Going by the spyshot, the cosmetic updates with the revised bumper design with grille, side gates and tail gate too. The test mule war riding on a differently designed diamond cut Alloy wheels. Though, there were no details of the images, but it is expected that the model will also get some tweaks from the inside such as a touchscreen system for the top of the line variant.
Under the skin, the Grand i10 facelift is likely to carry forward the same, existing 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol and 1.1-litre three-cylinder diesel unit. While the engine will come connected either to a 5-speed manual for both versions and a 4-speed automatic for a 1.2 petrol.
