Hyundai India has finally launched the BS-VI compliant Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS today at a price of Rs 5 Lakh.
Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS is available in four variants comprising of one diesel and petrol AMT and manual transmission system variant each. The Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS price in India is Rs 5.50 to Rs 8 lakhs.
The bold design of the Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS including the grille and the uniquely boomerang-shaped LED-DRLs looks attractive enough. Some impressive Grand i10 NIOS exterior features are 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, rear skid plate, shark fin antenna, and roof rails.
The Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS interior features 20.25 cm touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging,13.46 cm digital speedometer and cluster with MID, Arkamys premium sound, electrically adjustable and folding outside mirrors, engine start/stop button and driver side height adjustment.
When compared to the present generation Hyundai Grand i10, the Hyundai Grandi10 NIOS is around 400mm longer and about 20mm wider. The wheelbase shows an increase of approximately 25mm.

The Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS will be available with the 1.2L-petrol Kappa engine and the 1.2L CRDi diesel engine variants. The petrol variant is BSVI compliant whereas the diesel variant will be ready with BSVI compliance by 01st April 2020. Until then, fleet operators will get the current-gen BS-IV compliant diesel engine. The petrol engine will generate a power of 83 PS and a torque of 113.76Nm. Talking of the diesel engine, it will produce 75 PS power and 190.25 Nm torque. Buyers get a choice between the 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT.

Talking of the Grand i10 NIOS safety features, it includes dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, seat belt pretensioner with load limiter and rear parking sensors. The list also includes speed sensing auto door lock, driver rearview monitor, rear parking camera, emergency stop signal and impact sensing auto door unlock.
The Grand i10 NIOS is available in four trims, including Magna, Sportz, Era and Asta. Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS colour options are Typhoon Silver, Polar White, Fiery Red, Aqua Teal, Titan Grey and Alpha Blue. Dual-tone paint schemes are Aqua Teal with Black Roof and Polar White with Black Roof.
Hyundai India is offering a variable basic warranty that includes 3-year warranty/1,00,000 km, 4-year warranty/50,000 km or 5-year warranty/40,000 km with the road-side assistance.
The hatchback rivals the Maruti Swift, Ford Freestyle, and the Ford Figo in terms of performance and styling.
