Hyundai has increased the pricing of Grand i10 by 3% across entire range, which resulted in a hike ranging between Rs 14,205 and Rs 22,409. The top-end trim of the hatchback currently will be priced at Rs 7.69 lakh compared to the current pricing of Rs 7.46 lakh, while the base trim will be available at Rs 4.87 lakh instead of Rs 4.73 lakh. Hyundai has attributed the price hike to the increasing material and input cost. Now with Hyundai hiked the pricing of its cars, other automakers present in Indian market are also likely to increase the pricing of their cars. Available in both petrol and diesel engine options, Hyundai Grand i10 is one of the popular products from the South Korean brand.
The petrol model gets energy from a 1.2-litre engine, while the diesel variant too gets energy from a 1.2-litre CRDi motor. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 4-speed automatic unit. However, the automatic gearbox is available only with the petrol powered Hyundai Grand i10. The automaker hopes this price hike won’t affect the sales of the model.
