Hyundai is all set to launch the facelift version of the i20 soon in India. But before introducing the new version, Hyundai has reportedly made some changes to the features offered on the existing i20 model, where the Korean car manufacturer has stripped some features from the list of the Asta variant.
As per the updated brochure, the i20 Asta variant not will not get smart key, speed sensing auto door lock, rear wiper and washer, but will have a rear defogger. Moreover, the facelift version will now come with regular alloy wheels in a 5-spoke design instead of diamond cut alloy wheels. In terms of equipment, it will come with features like an automatic climate control with rear air-conditioning vents, 7.0 inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation along with Mirror Link, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, ABS, fog lamps, rear parking sensors and rear camera, while driver and passenger side airbags are standard across all variants of thei20.
Under the hood, it comes with 3 engine options – a 1.2 L Kappa dual VTVT engine with 82 bhp and 5-speed manual gearbox, 1.4L Dual VTVT 4-Speed with Automatic Transmission that makes 99 bhp and a 1.4L U2 CRDi with 6-Speed Transmission that belts out 89 bhp of top power.
