Hyundai India Hosts Strategic International Partners Meet 2019

Hyundai Motor India Ltd strengthens its reputation of being the largest exporter from India since its inception by registering robust growth in its export performance. The country’s first Smart Mobility Solutions Company hosted a grand International Partner’s Meet 2019 at the Buddh International F1 Circuit in New Delhi. 60 international partners graced the occasion to celebrate HMIL’s achievement in this regard.

HMIL MD and CEO, S. S. Kim commented that HMIL has a stellar role to play in Hyundai Motor Company’s Global Export plans for the international market. HMIL has been striving for excellence in exports right since its inception. HMIL’s ‘Made in India, Made for the World’ endeavour has been received with great success in more than 91 countries worldwide. 60 international partners have gathered to witness the company’s latest product line-up that includes the Hyundai Venue, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, and the Hyundai Atos (better known in India as Santro).

These three products were well appreciated by the international partners who reinforced their commitment to a long-term association with HMIL. Stanley Anderson, Director of HASA, expressed his pleasure to be part of such a grand celebration event. He commented on the excellent quality of vehicles produced by HMIL’s Chennai plant by highlighting the popularity of Hyundai vehicles in South Africa. He also announced his plans of launching the Hyundai Atos and Hyundai Venue in South Africa in December 2019. 

The participants included representatives from countries like Saudi Arabia, Chile, Vietnam, Columbia, and others. HMIL announced its export performance as a massive improvement of 20.46% over the corresponding period in 2018.
