Hyundai launches Creta Petrol automatic at Rs 12.86 lakh

The South Korean auto major and country’s second largest car manufacturer, Hyundai announced the launch of the automatic variant of the Hyundai Creta Petrol at Rs 12.86 lakh (Ex showroom, Delhi). The company has introduced Creta Petrol automatic variant (SX+) augmenting the overwhelming response to the most loved Indian Car of the Year. Not only this, Hyundai has also introduced the dual airbags as standard across all trims for Creta.

Since its launch, the Hyundai Creta has been a star SUV in the company’s product lineup, where it registered 100,000 bookings within eight months. The Creta Compact SUV has been the most awarded car of 2016 winning 26 awards, including the prestigious “Indian Car of The Year -2016”. The Hyundai Creta Petrol automatic variant (SX+) features AVN (a Smart Infotainment System), projector headlamps with LED positioning, rear parking sensors and camera, smart key with push button Start/Stop, chrome garnished outside door handles, child seat anchor, 17” diamond cut alloys, a leather wrap on steering wheel and fully automatic temperature control.

Announcing the launch of the automatic variants, Mr Rakesh Srivastava, Sr VP – Sales & Marketing, HMIL, said, “Hyundai Motor India has witnessed tremendous success with the CRETA- The Perfect SUV. Introducing the new variant of automatic transmission in Creta showcases Hyundai’s commitment to providing products based on customers wants and building the relationship as a customer centric company towards ensuring customers delight. With safety as our priority we have also introduced Dual Airbags as standard across all Creta variants. The new Automatic variants and enhanced safety features will be instrumental in achieving our aim to be the most preferred car manufacturer in India.”

Under the hood, the Hyundai Creta Petrol automatic variant (SX+) is powered by a 1.6-litre petrol unit, capable to pump out 121bhp and 155Nm of torque. While now the transmission choices are available in both 6-speed manual and automatic transmission.
