Hyundai launched the special edition of the Grand i10 starting at Rs 5.68 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi), to celebrate 20 years of existence in India. Just like the Xcent special edition launched earlier this month, the Grand i10 also received some cosmetic tweaks on the interior and exterior along with the addition of some features. In 2014, Hyundai Grand i10 has been honoured with Indian Car of the Year (ICOTY) award.
Announcing the launch of the Special Edition Grand i10, Mr Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. VP Sales and Marketing, Hyundai Motor India Ltd., said, “Grand i10 has been a trendsetter & India’s most loved hatchback winning many awards including the most coveted Indian Car of the Year 2014. Introduction of Grand i10 special edition will further enhance the value proposition of the product and aims to achieve the highest customer satisfaction.”
Both petrol and diesel guises will be available in the Hyundai i10 Sportz Trim. The Special Edition of the Grand i10 comes with an integrated roof mounted rear spoiler, distinctive body graphics and a blacked-out B-pillar, enhancing the sportiness of the version. While Inside, the hatch features a dual tone red-black upholstery along with a 6.2 inch Touch Screen Audio Video system. Not only this, to show its exclusivity the car will also wear a ‘20th Anniversary Special Edition’ emblem and is available in pure white colour.
