Hyundai has displayed the Nexo FCEV (Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle) in India for the first time at the India-Korea Business Summit in Delhi. While it is not sure if the South Korean auto manufacturer will launch this car in Indian market in near future, the Nexon FCEV could be an interesting product here if launched. Considering the fact that India is thriving towards zero emission pure electric mobility across the country by the end of next decade, Hyundai Nexo FCEV has a good chance to garner attention here.
The Hyundai Nexo FCEV comes with a stylish approach that is visible from every angle. It sports chrome trims and sleek LED headlamps. Also, the front bumper gets a muscular look. The car’s large front grille with horizontal slats adds zing to the overall look. At the side profile, the SUV boasts stylish and large alloy wheels. The sleek black cladding and a plain look make the car more stylish looking. No character lines help the car in achieving aerodynamic efficiency.
It also gets turn indicator integrated ORVMs, blackened glass area. The door handles come with slightly unusual look. Moving to the back, Hyundai Nexo FCEV gets sleek LED taillights, sculpted tailgate and a muscular bumper. So far, it looks very attractive from every angle. Inside the cabin too, Hyundai Nexo FCEV gets wide range of premium interesting features.
Hyundai Nexo FCEV gets power from an electric motor that gets energy from a 95kW fuel cell. This zero emission powertrain churns out 158 bhp of peak power and 395 Nm of peak torque. The car can run 609 km on a single charge and it can accelerate to 100 kmph from standstill position in 9.2 seconds. What’s more interesting is the autonomous driving technology and wide range of safety features on board this SUV.
